About Us

We are John and Sarah Phillips of Bristol, TN, with a happy, healthy, perfect 6-year-old autistic son.

As you can imagine, nothing prepared us for the journey our family would embark on when our little boy was diagnosed with autism in 2019. However, like every parent on a mission, our son fuels our fight to ask the hard questions, do the hard things, and connect with people on a similar journey.

We’ve spent hundreds of hours reading and researching everything we can get our hands on about autism, early intervention, and navigating this neuro-diverse journey for our family. Together, we stand firm in our belief that education and inclusion call to action and action fuels hope, but like many places, access to quality resources is often hard to find; even then, 99% of places have never been “for all kids.” Because of this, we, too, found ourselves slipping out early or not going at all. We knew we could do better.

We knew we had to do better. Our children’s future depends on it.

And as divine order would have it, we stumbled upon a “We Rock” gym while on a trip to visit our family in Dallas, Tx, and knew almost immediately it was precisely what the Tri-Cities needed. God has been so faithful in ordering our steps and allowing us to move quickly in bringing this to our region. We are so excited to open our doors to children of ALL abilities this Fall, with a place where everyone can #playwithapurpose together.
